- A rare case of two turtles recovered caught in the same tangle of line and rope from a longline. Elisa had a large lesion on the right side of the carapace, caused by rubbing against the other turtle she was tied to, and strangulation of the right front flipper leading to gangrene, which required surgical amputation of the flipper.
